When you force a patient to sign off on a Consent Form stating: ‘I am aware that the practice of medicine is not an exact science and I acknowledge that no guarantees have been made to me because of treatments or examinations that I received or will receive. I understand that I have the right to discuss my treatment plan with my provider and to discuss the purpose and potential risks and benefits of any tests or procedures that are ordered or recommended by my provider.’

When CenterWell was confronted regarding the impact of their IAQ upon COPD, Asthma, environmentally sensitive they apparently take the 'ostrich in the sand approach'. They intentionally introduce into their clinics known respiratory/pulmonary allergens and or irritants, hardly holistic, even when provided with irrefutable proof, to cover up a problem rather than remediating it. Rather than addressing the underlying problem they kept letting it drag on, February to August, while taking a ''band-aid approach'. If you need an exterminator, find the problem and use IPM!
They have absolutely no problem accepting money from the taxpayers/patients, but, will not work in conjunction with governmental entities that provide accommodations for all disabled Americans. CDC, US Access Board, California bill would ban toxic chemicals from air fresheners
When you have untrained people acting in a supervisory position that refuse to comprehend the ramification of their actions, there is a problem. When ‘medical’ professionals ignore medical issues and permit known medical exacerbations, they are to be held accountable and forced to comply with their medical ethics. When you have a ‘medical doctor’ who is tasked to ‘govern’ over all medical facilities and refuses to do so, action is required.
These ‘professionals’ need to become educated on visible vs invisible disabilities and which demographic is more prevalent.
CenterWell is far from the prime level of care as provided by the Mayo Clinic, but at least CenterWell can try to 'emulate' Mayo's 'patient office visit policy': 'Mayo Clinic, Perfumes: Do not wear scented products (for example: perfume, hair spray, aftershave, powder, lotion) to this appointment. So if they notify the patients not to wear this, obviously their professional medical practitioners aren't wearing anything either, nor are they permeating their waiting room with harmful fragranced air fresheners. Humana's 'chronic ad nauseum' bloviating mantra, expressing unwavering concern for seniors, is marred by their algorithm that has denied so many seniors the necessary time in skilled rehab facilities, that there was a class action lawsuit filed in Kentucky.
The lawsuit accuses Humana of cutting payments prematurely for rehabilitative care based on its AI model's "highly inaccurate" recovery predictions. This highly inaccurate, error based AI, forced their patients to either leave the skilled facility or dig into their savings. Along with only about 2% who appealed the ruling, thus, that was another financial windfall for Humana.

Ignorant of what is really being provided by their corporate entities. Only if they are sued do they really start to look at everything globally. They are slowly moving the executives to the toney business area, Rosslyn, at 1812 North Moore, Arlington, VA. Denying patients medical care for rehab affords such a lush office environment. Since its a LEED Platinum building the IAQ is, of course, safe for the executives.
